Great service - delivered and collected the weekend before Christmas. Really appreciated it and would definitely use again. Just be mindful the skip shape wont take long items like open top skips will so they are great for lots of smaller stuff but not suitable for anything several meters long. Richard di Pietro was a nice bloke - very personable.

Things to Know About Hard Rubbish Collection in Rosebud When Making Room

When it comes to hard rubbish collection in Rosebud, the local council has a few straightforward requirements to keep things orderly. Firstly, residents need to book a collection in advance, which can usually be done online or over the phone. This ensures that waste services are well-coordinated. Once booked, residents are typically advised to place their hard rubbish on the nature strip in front of their property no earlier than one day before the scheduled pickup. This helps keep the streets tidy and avoids any potential fines.

Accepted items generally include large household items such as furniture, mattresses, and white goods, but it’s always a good idea to check the council’s specific list of accepted items to avoid any surprises. Additionally, there’s often a limit to the volume of hard rubbish that can be collected per household, so it’s wise to be mindful of how much you’re putting out.

Hazardous materials like chemicals, paints, and e-waste usually aren’t accepted in hard rubbish collections, so they need to be disposed of through special programs run by the council. Overall, a bit of planning and adhering to these guidelines ensures a smooth and hassle-free hard rubbish collection in Rosebud.
