A: On time means we deliver before the end of your booked 3-hour time window. For example, if you book your skip for Monday the 1st between 9:00am-12:00pm, your skip must be delivered before 12:00 pm on Monday the 1st.

Q: What exactly is free?

A: Your entire initial skip bin hire fee (worth $500-$650) is completely free if we’re late. This doesn’t include any additional charges like add-ons or upgrades, just the base hire price of the skip you originally booked.

Q: How do I claim my refund?

A: You don’t! It’s completely automatic. Our system flags late deliveries and processes your refund automatically when your hire is complete. No forms, no calls, no hassle.

Exceptions & Special Cases

Q: Are there any exceptions to the "On-Time or It's Free" guarantee?

A: Yes, the guarantee doesn’t apply in these rare situations beyond our control:

Force Majeure Events:

  • External events that are out of our control, that include, but are not limited to:
    • Major traffic accidents (where documented evidence can be provided)
    • Natural disasters
    • Extreme weather conditions that make delivery unsafe
    • Government-mandated road closures or restrictions

Customer-Related Issues:

  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by customer
  • Blocked access to delivery location
  • Customer unavailable at delivery location when access is required
  • Unsafe site conditions preventing delivery

Advance Notice:

  • If a Mobile Skips representative notifies you at least 12 hours before your booked delivery window that a delay will occur, the guarantee does not apply to the original timeframe. The guarantee will apply to your rescheduled delivery timeframe.

In all these cases, we’ll contact you immediately and the guarantee will apply to your rescheduled timeframe.

Effective Date: 1st of December 2025

The Guarantee

If Mobile Skips does not deliver your skip bin by the end of your booked 3-hour delivery window, you will receive a full refund of your skip bin hire fee (and still get to use the skip as planned).

What’s Covered

  • Full refund of base skip bin hire fee only (worth $500-$650)
  • Applies to the delivery of your Mobile Skip bin, not the collection.
  • Refunds are automatic. No claim required from customer

What’s Not Covered

The refund does NOT include:

  • Additional products such as extra days, additional weight, mattresses, tyres, prohibited items
  • Any charges beyond the base skip bin hire fee

How “On Time” is Defined

That we don’t deliver later than your booked timeslot. e.g. you book your skip for Monday the 1st between 09.00-12.00, skip must be delivered before 12.00 on Monday the 1st.

How the Refund Works

  1. You pay for your skip hire at the time of booking
  2. If we deliver later than the end time of your booked window, our system automatically flags it.
  3. We will review your booking and provide a decision within 5 business days.

  • Changes requested within 12 hours of your booked window may affect guarantee eligibility

General Conditions

  • This guarantee applies to all skip bin bookings made from 1st of December 2025.
  • Payment is required at time of booking.
  • The Customer must provide accurate delivery information and ensure clear, safe access.
  • Mobile Skips reserves the right to verify late deliveries through our booking system.
  • Mobile Skips reserves the right to modify or discontinue this guarantee.
  • Payment needs to be received 1 hour prior to the allocated delivery slot.

Dispute Resolution

If you believe your delivery was late and the automatic refund was not processed:

  1. Contact Mobile Skips customer service at 1300 675 477.
  2. Provide your booking reference number.
  3. We will review your booking record and process any eligible refund within 5 business days.
